Complications from the past: The past comes back with a critical blow.

 

Already in the past, Mikey tells Takemichi that they are going to appoint a new Third Division captain.

As everyone gather, Draken announces they will be choosing the new 3rd Division Captain. Everyone wonders who would that be. Manjiro calls for the new captain to come out and Takemichi starts to wonder if he means him. Tetta Kisaki then walks up, passing Takemichi, who recalls he had seem him before, but doesn't know who he is. Tetta goes to Manjiro and sits with his back towards him, which angers the rest of the members. Tetta's man then announces that the new 3rd Division Captain is Tetta Kisaki, which shocks Takemichi as he recalls everyone telling him its Tetta Kisaki's fault. Some of the members recognize Tetta as being part of Moebius and are against it. Ken shuts them up. Manjiro explains that they will be facing Valhalla and to defeat them, Toman needs to grow and reannounces Tetta Kisaki as the new 3rd Division Captain.

Knowing that this is the worst outcome and what will happen to Hinata, Takemichi plucks up his courage and punches Tetta. Ken yells at him for disrupting the ceremony since he is not even part of Toman. The other captains get angry at Takemichi's disrespect for Manjiro's decision. As they are wondering what to do, Keisuke Baji approaches and attacks Takemichi, but is stopped by Takashi Mitsuya. Manjiro asks Keisuke what he is doing there, as he was not allowed to attend their meetings due to certain internal conflicts. Keisuke states that he hit a jerk and if he will eventually be kicked out of Toman. 

Keisuke then states that he will be joining Valhalla and quits his position of 1st Division Captain of Toman. Tetta asks Takemichi if he prefers the face or the guts as he prefers the face. Takemichi wonders about what and chooses the guts, but in that moment Tetta punches him in the face, knocking him out and guessing he tightened up his gut. Takemichi later awakens with Manjiro next to him. Manjiro wonders if Takemichi dislikes Tetta and comments that its hard growing an organization as when he brings new blood, old one leaves. Manjiro then asks for a favor and explains that he as he grew, he had a neighbor kid that always picked fights with him, but he always beat him. That guy is Keisuke, who punches Takemichi previously and is a founding member of Toman. Manjiro created Toman in his first year of middle school along with Ken, Takashi, Pah-chin and Keisuke. Manjiro then asks Takemichi to bring Keisuke back from Valhalla as he really likes him. Takemichi agrees, but wants something in return, Manjiro to kick Tetta Kisaki out of Toman. Although he can't explain it, Tetta will ruin Toman in the future.

Manjiro agrees and tells Takemichi to bring Keisuke before they fight Valhalla to prove that he is more useful than Tetta Kisaki. Manjiro is aware that Tetta is bad news, but he needs his strength and if Takemichi fails, Manjiro tells him that he will kill him. Manjiro then yells at Takashi to show up as he knows he is eavesdropping. Manjiro then states that Takemichi is joining 2nd Division under Takashi and is now officially a member of Toman.

Takemichi stays to wash away the blood from his face. He recalls he indeed wasn't a member of Toman and now feels embarrassed telling Naoto that he will become head of Toman. He wonders why Keisuke left. Takemichi finds a charm on the ground and a phone inside. He realizes this is a photo of the founding members of Toman, but sees a sixth person he can't recognize. Elsewhere, Keisuke meets with the person from the photo, Kazutora Hanemiya.

The next day at school, Takemichi wonders what to do to get Keisuke to return. Atsushi and the rest approach him, commenting that they have heard he has entered Toman and wish to join soon as well. However, Takemichi comments that it's not as good as it seems. Takemichi explains that he needs to bring Keisuke back, or Manjiro will kill him. Since Takemichi doesn't know who the Valhalla are, Kazushi, as an encyclopedia of criminals, steps in to explain. Kazushi explains that Toman is led by Manjiro and Ken and that they have 5 divisions each with 20 members for a total of about 100 members. 

As the former captain of the 3rd Division, Pah-chin, was arrested, Vice Captain Peyan joined the 2nd Division under Takashi Mitsuya. The former leader of Moebius, Tetta Kisaki, then became the new captain of the 3rd Division. Moebius was never a monolith and those born in 1988, were led by Nobutaka Osanai, while those born in 1990, were led by Tetta and the two crews always clashed. However, after losing to Manjiro, Moebius disbanded and the group led by Tetta Kisaki joined Toman, making Toman grow from 100 to 150 members. Takuya wonders about the remaining members of Moebius and Kazushi explains to him that they joined Shuji Hanma and created Valhalla, consisting of 300 members. However, Shuji is only the acting commander and no one knows who the real commander is, and making Valhalla also known as the Headless Angel.

Kazushi then explains that the rest of the anti-Toman members were gathered by their number 3, Kazutora Hanemiya. At that moment, Kazutora enters the classroom looking for Takemichi and wondering if the school is already over. Makoto tries to intimidate him, however Kazushi recognizes the dragon tattoo and stops Makoto, explaining that he is Kazutora Hanemiya. Overjoyed, Kazutora hugs Takemichi commenting that he can't believe that someone a year younger than him and from the same school is part of Toman. Kazutora then grabs Takemichi and wants to take him to Valhalla's hideout...
