Bloody Halloween: Valhalla vs. Tokyo Manji Kai

On October 31, 2005, the day of the battle, Takemichi sees a large group of people in the compound and wonders what they are doing there. Chifuyu explains to him that they are there to watch the fight between Toman and Valhalla, because the winner would be one step closer to ruling Tokyo, so all the thug bosses are here to watch. Chifuyu then points to the Haitani brothers, charismatic brothers from Roppongi who can rally over a hundred people with a single call. The fat guy in the car, Leanman, runs Ueno and is strong as a beast. Hansen steps forward, explaining that he is going to supervise the fight and introducing himself as a member of the Ikebukuro Black Criminal Members.

Chifuyu explains that he is a big shot in the 1988 group and a referee. Hansen summons the two groups and Toman and Valhalla show up. Manjiro thanks Hansen for agreeing to supervise the bout. Hansen declares that if the bout sucks, he will eliminate the two. Draken and Kazutora are called in as representatives. Hansen asks them if they will fight five on five with their best men or one on one with everyone. Draken states that Valhalla wants this match, so they must decide, but he has one condition: if they win, they will take Keisuke Baji.

As Draken insists on it, Kazutora gets angry and knocks Hansen out, commenting that they have not come to play house or something, but to kill them all.

The two gangs then run towards each other, starting the fight.

The fight between Toman and Valhalla begins, with the main members of Toman doing very well. Takemichi tries to take care of Keisuke but ends up in a fight with a Valhalla member. Kazutora tries to attack Manjiro, but Ken stops him, stating that he won't let him touch Manjiro, however, Shuji Hanma intervenes and pushes Ken away, deciding that they will fight each other and lets Kazutora fight Manjiro.

Takemichi is in trouble, losing his fight, but Mitsuya saves him, however he scolds him, asking him why he came, as they are there to fight and he needs to stay focused. Takemichi gets motivated, however seeing two big scary guys in front of him, he gets scared again. Chifuyu stands behind him, telling him that he will have his back, and that there is no one here who is not afraid, but what matters is how he faces that fear. Remembering Hinata's death, Takemichi controls himself and begins to defend himself.

As the fight progresses, Mitsuya tells Draken that Valhalla is made up of older and larger members, and that they are twice as many as Toman. While the captains can hold their ground, the weaker ones are being possessed. Draken goes and protects a weaker member, who apologizes, saying he wishes he could fight like the captains, but Ken tells him he will protect everyone. As more of the weaker ones begin to fall, Ken sees Takemichi running and brandishing his fighters, shouting for the Valhalla members to come and fight him. As Takemichi shouts that he will crush everyone, the weaker guys get motivated and get up to keep fighting. There is no need to protect them anymore, Draken goes on the offensive and starts hitting the Valhalla members one by one. While dispatching a large number of enemies, Ken turns to Shuji to continue his fight and sends him flying a couple of meters with a single punch.

Everyone asks who it is... terrified and everyone with a trembling voice says:

He is number 2 of Tokyo Manji DRAKEN!

On other part in the fight Manjiro follows Kazutora, who climbs on a pile of used cars. A Valhalla captain launches a surprise attack, but Manjiro manages to block it. Kazutora then states that he didn't promise to fight one-on-one and explains he brought the strongest fighters while he was in juvie: Chonbo and Chome. Chome assumes that Manjiro isn't that strong as typically those who are said to be strong are not actually strong. Hoewever as they engage him, Chomo realizes that Manjiro is indeed real deal. Kazutora then explains he lured him here as his footing won't be stable and he won't be easily launching his deadly kicks. Chonbe is surprised that Manjiro is easily able to fight against him and Chome, but they manage to grab him and restrain him, giving Kazutora a chance to come and hit him in the head with a pipe. As Manjiro falls, everyone is surprised and Kazutora believes they have won. Manjiro is bleeding, but manages to get up and asks Kazutora if he is Kazutora's enemy.

Kazutora then tells Manjiro that he went to juvie because of him and naturally Manjiro is his enemy. Killing someone makes you bad guy, but killing your enemy, makes you a hero. Chonbo and Chome then hold Manjiro, while Kazutora proceeds to hit him with the pipe. Angry, Manjiro asks did he kill his brother because he was his enemy.
He then hits Chome with the back of his head and rises his leg while Chonbo is still holding him and then kicks Kazutora in the head, knocking him down.

Mikey knocks out Kazutora, Chome and Chonbo, however, he then falls on his knees and stops moving. As everyone sees that, the Valhalla members guess that he is exhausted and decide to use the chance to defeat him, and a small group of them led by one of Valhalla remaining captains leads them towards Manjiro. Takemichi looks around asking if someone could help Manjiro,

but as he sees everyone is busy fighting, he decides he himself needs to save Manjiro and heads towards him. While running side by side with Valhalla members, Takemichi constantly gets hit by them, but he stands up and continues to run. The Valhalla Captain Choji had reached Manjiro is about to him, however, Tetta Kisaki steps in and knocks him out. Seeing that, Takemichi recalls that he had seen Choji with Tetta Kisaki in the past. Tetta announces that his division will be taking care of protecting Manjiro. Hearing that, all Toman members praise Tetta and comment that he is stealing the spotlight. Takemichi realizes that even if they win, it will great for Tetta and if they loose, they will be absorbed into Valhalla, and either way Tetta wins.

In that moment, Keisuke Baji comes and hits Tetta with a pipe, stating that he is taking him down. Tetta's man, Hamada then pushes Keisuke down and as Tetta gets up, he tells him to kill Keisuke. Chifuyu gets in front of Keisuke, asking him not to fight Tetta as taking him down now, will mean that he is betraying Manjiro. Keisuke punches Chifuyu, telling him to move and that he only kept him because he could fight. Chifuyu tells him he is there to protect him and that he won't be holding back. Keisuke gives him a try and ten seconds to attack him, however, Chifuyu doesn't more or attack Keisuke. Keisuke was about to start climbing the cars again, but Takemichi comes and charges him, holding him and yelling at Chifuyu that they need to protect Keisuke. Chifuyu cries and states that he cannot him Keisuke, in that moment, Keisuke hits Takemichi, but he manages to fight the pain and keeps holding Keisuke. However, Takemichi then realizes that Tetta isn't the one that kills Keisuke, but Kazutora. As at Kazutora, he realizes he is gone and in that moment, Kazutora appear behind them and stabs Keisuke in the back.

Takemichi pushes Kazutora back and asks Keisuke if he is okay and Keisuke confirms its just a scratch. Chifuyu jumps on Kazutora, who mumbles its Keisuke's fault. Takemichi is glad that he managed to save Keisuke and recalling the events until now, he states the only thing left for him is to crush Tetta and become the top of Toman. Keisuke realizes that Takemichi and Chifuyu are also after Tetta, but punches them, telling them to stay away. As Keisuke head towards Tetta, he tells Takemichi to take care of Manjiro.
Keisuke then faces the fifty members of the 3rd Division by himself. Tetta realizes that Kazutora failed and tells Hamada to be careful. Hamada believes the fifty men they have would be enough, but in that moment, he gets knocked out by Keisuke, who then points a pipe at Tetta. However in that moment, Keisuke starts spitting blood and falls on his knees.

Keisuke falls due to his injury. Chifuyu wonders what have Tetta Kisaki done, but Tetta states he haven't done anything. Takemichi and Chifuyu then realize its the wound from Kazutora and its much more serious than Keisuke stated. Takashi tells another member to call an ambulance. Tetta guesses that Kazutora is indeed crazy and had brought Keisuke to Valhalla, so that he can finish him off himself. As Manjiro stands up, Takemichi realizes that Tetta is trying to provoke Manjiro into attacking Kazutora. Manjiro reveals he though of killing Kazutora the moment he got out of juvie, however Keisuke managed to convince him to not do it and that Kazutora wanted to make Manjiro happy and to make things make sense for him, he had to make Manjiro his enemy. As Manjiro steps down, he says the fight is over. Shuji tells him its not something he can decide, but in that instant, Manjiro kicks and knocks out Shuji. Shocked by his overwhelming strength, most of Valhalla members run away.

Manjiro then approaches Kazutora, who tells Manjiro that one of them must die. In an instant, Manjiro punches Kazutora and starts beating him up. As he proceeds to beat him, Takemichi recalls Ken's words from the future and realizes that he isn't changing anything. While being beaten, Kazutora recalls earlier conversation with Shuji, who reveals reveals that Keisuke is an enemy. Thinking that Keisuke will abandon him too, Kazutora sneaks behind Keisuke while Takemichi holds him and stabs him in the back. Kazutora then recalls when he killed Manjiro's brother and how he ended up blaming Manjiro and wanting to kill him, but Keisuke told him to not say such things and that he will be with him until the end. Kazutora realizes that Keisuke was indeed always with him and he ended up destroying the most important thing to him, and accepts his death, waiting to join Keisuke in the afterlife.

Keisuke then manages to stand up, yelling Manjiro's name, who then stops and turns to Keisuke. Keisuke thanks him for getting mad for him. Keisuke then walks past Manjiro and tells Kazutora that he won't die, so he must not worry. Saying that he won't die by his hands, Keisuke takes out a knife and stabs himself.

Chifuyu and Takemichi go to Keisuke, who in his final moments, tells Takemichi that Tetta is the enemy. He tells him that after the fight with Moebius, when Pah-chin stabbed Nobutaka Osanai, Tetta asked Manjiro to let him be the 3rd Division Captain in exchange of getting Pah-chin out of jail. He tried to solve it himself, but wasn't able to. However as he dies by his own hands, Manjiro won't have a reason to kill Kazutora. Seeing Shinichiro, Keisuke tells Takemichi that in a way, he is like him and tells him that he is leaving Manjiro and Toman to him. Keisuke then says he would like a yakisoba to split with Chifuyu, who tells him he will go buy one. As Keisuke thanks him, he takes his last breath and dies in Chifuyu's hands.

Hearing Chifutu's cry, Manjiro proceeds to beat Kazutora, stating he will kill him. Chifuyu states that he knew Keisuke didn't betray them and was fighting alone, but he couldn't save or protect him. As Takemichi cries that he wasn't able to do anything, he recalls Keisuke's words that he leaves Manjiro and Toman to him. He then goes between Manjiro and Kazutora. Manjiro tells him to move or he will kill him too. As he doesn't move, Manjiro punches Takemichi, who then says that Keisuke didn't want this. Manjiro kicks him, telling him to not speak for Keisuke. Takemichi yells that Keisuke is dead at that he risked his life for Manjiro and Kazutora. He killed himself, because he didn't want Kazutora to feel responsible for his fate and because he wanted Manjiro to forgive Kazutora. As Takemichi took off his jacket, a charm fell off. Manjiro picks up the charm and asks him from where he got it. Takemichi explains he picked it up at the last meeting. Manjiro recognizes the charm and realizes that Keisuke had kept it all this time and recalls how they created Toman.

Back on June 13th, 2003(2 years earlier), Manjiro wishes the gang to gather at the shrine. They go to buy charms, but see that each cost 500 yen. Emptying their pockets, they realize no one have enough to buy himself a charm. Ken suggest they combine their money and that way they can buy one charm. As they buy one, Manjiro suggests that Keisuke keeps it as they formed the gang because of his idea. And that's when everyone agreed on the name Tokyo Manji (after Manjiro Sano, Mikey's name).

Back in the present, Manjiro holds the charm, recalling the past events and that Keisuke was the one that created Toman, wanting it to be a gang that protects everyone. Moments later, they hear police sirens and everyone decides to leave. Kazutora tells them to leave as he will remain with Keisuke, as he its his fault and wishes to settle it. As Toman starts to leave, Kazutora tells Manjiro that he can't ask for forgiveness, but he will carry the burden for the rest of his life, and bows down. The battle ended as Toman's victory, but Kazutora is arrested. Later the conflict became known as the Bloody Halloween.

Later, at the Tokyo Juvenile Detention Center, Takemichi and Ken visit Kazutora. Kazutora tells them that he will probably get 10 years, but wonders if that is enough, however he has no intention of running away and will face what he has done. Ken tells him not to die, knowing what Kazutora was thinking, and that he will not forgive him if he takes his own life to try to make amends. He then gives him a message from Manjiro, that he is still part of Toman and that he forgives him.

Although the mission was successful in a different way and with losses the future had to have changed! But... maybe in a bizarre way...
